According to the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, a ceremony of handing over medical equipment was held today at the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy within the framework of the Grass Roots and Human Safety grant program of the Japanese government.

According to the grant agreement, he received a portable digital ultrasound system from a class of specialists with a transesophageal echocardiography sensor for the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy, with a total cost of 6 million 634 thousand 544 soms.

The event was held with the participation of the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulnara Baatyrova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic Boga Hideki.

In his welcoming speech, the Minister expressed special thanks and appreciation to the Ambassador, the coordinators of the Public Safety and Human Security Program, for their support in providing equipment to medical institutions.

“With the provided portable ECHOCG device, it will be possible to further improve the quality of care for patients with acute coronary syndrome. "The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic will make every effort to strengthen the emergency cardiology service in the country, increase the availability and improve the quality of medical care for patients."
