The Football Association of Uzbekistan announced that Jaloliddin Masharipov will not be able to participate in the 2026 World Cup.
It is noted that the player was out of action for a long time due to an injury and was unable to fully participate in training. In order to quickly return him to the team and recover, the medical staff took the necessary measures and worked on an individual training program. The results of the medical examinations were submitted to the FIFA Medical Committee, which decided that he would not be able to participate in the competition.
Ruslanbek Zhiyanov was included in the final composition of the national team instead of Masharipov.
