Jahongir Ortiqkhodjayev is building a $600 million factory in the United States

Akfa Group founder Jahongir Artikhojayev announced that he has begun construction of a large industrial complex in the US state of Kentucky. According to him, the plant will produce aluminum products, car spare parts, solar panels and glass parts. The total cost of the project is $600 million.
In an interview with the “Menimcha” program on the “Uzbekistan 24” TV channel, Artikhojayev said that this project is being implemented in collaboration with a Turkish partner. At the initial stage, $105 million in investment will be attracted.
This is Akfa Group’s first large plant outside of Uzbekistan, and the company aims to expand its activities internationally.

Recall that US President Donald Trump recently announced that Uzbekistan would invest $100 billion in the US economy.
