Jackie Chan’s Most Dangerous Stunt Ever

Jackie Chan, known worldwide for his fearless stunts and dedication to realism, once performed what many consider the most terrifying stunt of his career.

In his 1998 action film “Who Am I?”, Chan slid down the slanted glass façade of the 21-story Willemswerf building in Rotterdam, Netherlands — without CGI, without a stunt double, and with only one thin safety wire hidden under his clothes.

Before attempting the stunt, Jackie spent several days standing on the rooftop, battling his fear of heights and preparing mentally for the descent. Eventually, he gathered the courage to do it himself — and made cinematic history.

The sequence remains one of the most dangerous and breathtaking stunts ever filmed.
Chan later called it:

“The scariest scene of my entire life.”
