Legendary actor Jackie Chan spoke about how he has prepared for his own death at the premiere of the new drama “Unexpected Family.”

The actor revealed that he put his final thoughts into a new song, which will be released on the day of his death. He said that in the past, he often imagined dying young while performing a dangerous stunt in order to achieve legendary status. However, he no longer has that obsession.

In the film “Unexpected Family,” Jackie Chan plays an elderly man suffering from Alzheimer’s disease who mistakes his tenant for his son and forms an unusual family with several strangers.
“I want to show the world that I am an actor who knows kung fu, not just an action movie star,” he said.

To prepare for the role, Jackie Chan spent time with people living with Alzheimer’s disease. He expressed hope that the film would help raise awareness about the illness.
