It was reported that the schoolgirl in Almalyk died before the meeting began

Earlier, reports circulated on social media claiming that a schoolgirl in Almalyk had died after a “disciplinary” meeting. However, Bobur Tulegenov, head of the Information Service of the Tashkent Regional Department of Internal Affairs, denied these claims and stated that the girl passed away before entering the meeting.

The deceased was a 10th-grade student at School No. 5 in Almalyk. While heading to the meeting along with other students, she lost consciousness in the corridor on the first floor and died.

At present, the competent authorities are conducting an investigation. The police have asked the public not to spread unverified information until the official inquiry is completed.
