The press service of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change reports that 541 fish were caught illegally in Jizzakh region and 178,530,000 soums of damage was caused to nature.
It was reported that the control raid event was held in cooperation with the state inspectors of the Aydar-Arnasoy lake system department of the ministry and the employees of the Jizzakh regional prosecutor's office.
During the raid, a citizen living in the Aydar-Arnasoy lake system, Arnasoy department, Chinoz district, Tashkent region, T.B. found illegal fishing. A total of 541 (113.5 kilos) small-sized pike fish (sudak) were found in his car.
As a result of the study, it was found that the animal world was damaged in the amount of 178 million 530 thousand soums. At the moment, the collected documents are being prepared for submission to the prosecutor's office.
Illegal fishing using electric fishing rods was discovered during a raid in this area in April. At that time, one of the citizens did not comply with the legal requirements of the employees on duty, actively resisted them, drove his Nexia-3 over the head of the department in order to destroy the illegally caught fish and other physical evidence. caused bodily injury by endangering his life and health.
