The work record is the main document confirming the length of service. How can you retire if it disappears? Bakhriddin Ziyatov, chief specialist of the Pension Fund, gave a detailed answer to this question.

Bakhriddin Ziyatov said that the length of service for the periods before January 1, 2005 is determined based on the entries in the labor book, without requiring other supporting documents.

"In the absence of an employment book or entries in it, the length of service can be confirmed by archival data, extracts from orders, employment contracts and other documents. In addition, information on labor activities is accepted in court based on the instructions of citizens," said the expert.

Earlier, the fund answered the question of whether pensions will be granted to citizens with no work experience. At the same time, the question of adding seniority to a working pensioner or not has been clarified.
