It was announced how much money will be allocated for air purification in Uzbekistan

In 2025, 900 billion soums will be allocated for projects to ensure air purity and improve the ecological situation in Uzbekistan. In 2026, an additional 548 billion soums are planned to be allocated. This was announced at a meeting of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis on December 3. The funds will be spent through a special environmental fund created by the state and will be directed to the installation of modern filtration systems at industrial enterprises and the improvement of the general ecological situation. In addition, 20% of the proceeds from carbon unit sales and part of the fees for the disposal of waste and vehicles will also be directed to the fund.
