An official inquiry has been launched after a 20-year-old man lost consciousness and fell into critical condition following medical treatment at a private clinic in Angren.
Reports indicate that the young man visited the "Angren Medical Center" clinic on July 31st with symptoms of a cold. His condition reportedly deteriorated and he lost consciousness after receiving an intravenous injection without a preliminary sensitivity test.
He was transported by ambulance to the Angren City Central Hospital, where he underwent a tracheostomy; he is currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit.
The Tashkent Regional Health Department has taken charge of the situation and established a working group to investigate the quality of care provided and the reasons behind the patient's deterioration. The results of the investigation are not yet known.
