"An important and long-awaited law. Education is of strategic importance in achieving the goals we have set for ourselves today as a nation and a state.
Today, more than 640,000 pedagogues who are passionate about their work are working in preschool, general secondary and higher education institutions in our country.
First of all, the law serves to increase the rights and prestige of the devotees of this nation, and also to ensure the stability of the social and moral environment in the educational institutions that cover millions of our children through them, and to increase the quality of education. it is important to do.
Unfortunately, in our recent history, there have been periods when attention to mentors has decreased, and the consequences of this are still felt.
Within the framework of our reforms in the field of education, special attention has been paid to comprehensive support of teachers-coaches during the past short period.
It is an undeniable fact that an intolerant policy has been formed, especially with regard to involving teachers in extra work that is not theirs. Anyone who dares to do so, regardless of their position and status, will be held accountable before the law.
Strict measures were also taken to free our teachers from excessive burdens and unnecessary paperwork in the educational process. Significant changes are also taking place in terms of their material support.
We believe that this law will strengthen the legal status of the pedagogue and bring our work on social and economic support to a qualitatively new level.
For this, the first task should be to increase their level of awareness of the law, to strengthen the promotion of this law not only among teachers and pedagogues, but also in our society as a whole.
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all teachers-coaches in our country on October 1, which is the Day of Teachers and Coaches. We think that the adoption of the law will be a worthy gift for them before the holiday," said Senate Chairman Tanzila Norboyeva during the discussion of the law.
The law was approved by senators.
