"It is planned to deliver 2.8 billion cubic meters of gas to Uzbekistan annually from Russia through Kazakhstan on the basis of a commercial contract. "The entry into force of the agreement and the supply of gas from Russia to Uzbekistan will play a very important role in ensuring energy stability not only in our republic, but also in Central Asia," said Sherzod Asadov. On October 7, the import of gas from Russia to Uzbekistan will begin. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kasim-Jomart Tokayev and Vladimir Putin are expected to participate in this event.
