In Uzbekistan, 83 percent of those who have completed higher education are employed. This information was provided via the "Graduate Quality Index" platform of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (https://bsi.nqaae.uz/).
The analysis examined the labor market status of 249,432 graduates from 170 higher education institutions. It was determined that 206,951 of them—or 83 percent—are employed.
Additionally, 19,314 graduates (7.7 percent) are continuing their education, while 48,125 (19.3 percent) are on childcare leave.
According to the analysis, 41,006 graduates are unemployed, 1,316 (0.5 percent) are foreign citizens, and 159 (0.1 percent) are deceased. The average monthly salary of the graduates is 4.9 million soums. The highest average salary is in Tashkent city, at 6.6 million soums. On average, it takes 3 months and 5 days to secure employment.
