It has been announced that Bekmurod Abdullayev and the other employees tried alongside him have been found not guilty.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Ramazon Ashropov announced that the question of the innocence of Bekmurod Abdullayev and other officials tried alongside him had been fully reviewed. He stated this at a press conference held on October 9.

The criminal case against Bekmurod Abdullayev and 28 others involved charges related to the misappropriation of state property. The case was heard in closed court sessions.

Reports that Abdullayev had been acquitted circulated in September 2026. On September 24, it was revealed that he had been appointed as the head of the Internal Affairs Department for the Chilonzor district of Tashkent.
