It became known when the next long weekend in Uzbekistan will be observed

This year, the Uzbeks rested in Kurban Haiti for five days in a row.
In December last year, the president had signed a resolution to set additional non-working days during the celebration of official dates and to move the weekend in 2023.

Subsequently, on April 20 of this year, the head of state, by a new decree, made changes to the above document.

According to this document, September 2 (Saturday) is an additional day off for employees who have a six-day work week.

Thus, in September, Uzbeks will rest for three days in a row:

- September 1, 2023 (Friday) - weekend;
- September 2, 2023 (Saturday) - an additional day off for employees with a six-day work week;
- September 3, 2023 (Sunday) is a day off according to the calendar.
