It became known that the former assistant governor of Surkhandarya took a loan in the name of others

In the Kumkurgan district of the Surkhandarya region, it became known that the assistant governor received a loan of 132 million soums for the electronic signature of others. This was reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.

On October 31, 2023, U.T., who was released from the position of assistant governor as a supplier, citizen M.E. and deceived others and obtained their electronic signatures. Help of signatures has achieved the allocation of a total of 132 million soums of credit from 33 million soums for the organization of greenhouse activities in the name of citizens.

In connection with this situation, on November 9, 2023, the prosecutor's office of Kumkurgan district initiated a criminal case against U.T. under Article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code, part 3, clauses "b, v".

Currently, the preliminary investigation of the criminal case is being carried out by the Investigative Group in the presence of the Kumkurgan District IIB.
