Preventive measures to prevent the importation of unfit for consumption meat are ongoing in Tashkent, informs the capital IIBB information service.

It is noted that during the 10 days of August, 1,497 kilograms of low-quality meat products were prevented from being imported into the capital by the employees of the Quarantine Measures Group of the Tashkent IIBB JTSB together with the specialists of the sanitary-epidemiological service.

In particular, 28-year-old Q.Kh., who was traveling along the Samarkand-Tashkent route, during the night event held along THAY, Chilonzor district. Isuzu motor vehicle under the control was stopped. During the inspection, it was revealed that a total of 1,111 kilograms of meat of an unknown animal was being transported without veterinary documents, chopped and frozen. Meat products were sent to the laboratory for examination.

According to Article 109 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, the violation of veterinary, veterinary-sanitary rules and regulations is the basis for bringing to administrative responsibility.
