Issues of access of the population to quality medicines discussed in Dushanbe

On July 26, a meeting was held between the leadership of the Service for State Supervision of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan with the head of the representative office of Pfizer Export B.V. in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Director General for the Caucasus and Central Asia, NIAT "Khovar" reports with reference to the State Supervision Service.

The main purpose of the meeting is to consider issues related to the possibility of timely access of the population to innovative and high-quality medicines, established requirements in the direction of regulation of the pharmaceutical industry, import and circulation of medicines in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan.

It should be noted that Pfizer is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies and uses innovative technologies and modern global resources to ensure high quality standards in the process of safe research, processing and production of medicines. The products manufactured by the company consist of medicines, vaccines and medical products.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of mutual interest and expressed readiness for cooperation in this direction.
