Israel resumes Gaza attacks

Israel resumed its attacks on Gaza on the night of March 18. More than 200 people, including children, were killed in the attack. The order to resume the attack was given by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the defense minister. According to Netanyahu, he made this decision in response to the lack of progress in negotiations to extend the ceasefire. The Israeli defense minister said that the hostilities will not stop until “the hostages are returned to their homes and all the goals of this war are achieved.”
The hostilities resumed two months after the ceasefire came into effect. As part of the agreement, the Hamas group released more than thirty Israeli hostages in exchange for the release of about two thousand Palestinians from Israeli prisons.
Trump issued a "final warning" to Hamas on his social media page, stating that he would send Israel whatever it takes to destroy every member of Hamas.
