Israel launches airstrike on Iran

On the night of June 13, Israel launched a large-scale airstrike on Iran, striking key sites in Iran's nuclear program.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Operation Rising Lion had targeted the main uranium enrichment plant and nuclear scientists in Natanz.
Local media reported that the attack killed General Hossein Salami, commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. In addition, fires broke out in residential buildings in Tehran and infrastructure was damaged.
The United States said that it had no involvement or assistance in this military operation.
Iran, in turn, said that it would respond firmly to the attacks. In particular, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that Israel had "prepared a bitter and painful fate for itself" with this strike and that it should expect "severe punishment."
Amid the situation between the two countries, Uzbeks in Israel were warned of possible attacks.
Also, some flights from Tashkent were turned back due to the closure of Iranian airspace.
