Islamic Development Bank plans to implement new $3 billion project in Uzbekistan
Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with Ali Muhammad Khan, Head of the Almaty Regional Center of the Islamic Development Bank. The talks discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation and future directions.
The parties signed a program of promising investment projects and approved a list of projects planned for implementation. It is noted that the Islamic Development Bank is considering 20 new projects in Uzbekistan with a total value of $3 billion. The projects cover such priority sectors as transport infrastructure development, energy, water resources management, healthcare, education and agriculture.
