Islamic Civilization Center Wins Prix Avicenne 2025 Award
The Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan has been awarded one of Europe’s prestigious honors — the Prix Avicenne 2025 (Avicenna Prize 2025). The award ceremony took place in Paris, at the building of the French National Academy of Medicine. The event brought together leading scholars, medical historians, orientalists, experts on Islamic heritage, and representatives of European cultural institutions.
During the official ceremony, the Islamic Civilization Center of Uzbekistan received the Avicenna commemorative statuette and the award diploma. It was noted that Uzbekistan today not only preserves and values its cultural and scientific heritage, but also makes a significant contribution to global humanitarian studies by promoting new large-scale initiatives.
