Irina Shayk Talks About Parenting Limits for Her Daughter

Russian supermodel Irina Shayk rarely speaks about her personal life and parenting. Recently, in an interview with People magazine, she discussed how her daughter Lea is being raised and what limits are in place for her.

Lea, Shayk’s daughter, was born in March 2017 to American actor Bradley Cooper. The famous parents have made every effort to shield their daughter from excessive public attention. Lea is now 8 years old. According to Shayk, she is beginning to understand her parents’ fame and their work. Despite this, both Shayk and Cooper do everything they can to ensure their daughter’s comfort and safety.

Speaking about her parenting principles, Irina Shayk revealed strict limits on her daughter’s use of gadgets:

“She has very, very limited access to digital technology. Almost none,” People reports.

Instead, the parents focus on helping Lea grow through friends, play, and face-to-face interactions. They believe the most important thing for their daughter is love.

“The best thing you can give your child is a loving family upbringing,” Shayk says.

The relationship between Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk became public in 2015. They were never married and ended their relationship in 2019.
