Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian congratulated Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin on the anniversary of his country's independence.

In a message to the Tajik Minister, Hossein Amir Abdollahian expressed the hope that Tajikistan and Iran will strengthen comprehensive cooperation and brotherhood, based, among other things, on the fact that the countries speak the same language and have a common culture.

Let us recall that recently Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi in his telegram congratulated the people and leader of Tajikistan on the anniversary of the state's independence.

In addition, Raisi noted that cultural, historical and linguistic involvement, mutual interests and exchanges of high-level delegations played a significant role in the expansion and continuation of bilateral relations.
