Earlier, it was reported that an Iranian missile crashed into an airport in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan was informed that two Iranian drones had crashed. The second of the drones crashed near a school in the village of Shakarabad. Students and teachers were evacuated, two civilians were injured.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry summoned the Iranian ambassador, described the attack as a violation of international law and demanded an immediate explanation and the prevention of such situations in the future. Azerbaijan reserves the right to take appropriate retaliatory measures.
