Iranian Boy Survives War for 102 Days, Returns to School
In January, 8-year-old Radin and his mother traveled to Iran to resolve financial issues and visit relatives. They had planned to return in just 20 days, but the war suddenly broke out, preventing them from leaving the country and cutting off contact with the school.
Three months later, on April 22, Radin's mother contacted the teachers again to let them know that they were safe and on their way back to China, and Radin returned to school on April 27.
Radin was warmly welcomed by his classmates, who hugged him as soon as they saw him, some even crying.
