Tensions between Iran and Israel have escalated again. Iran said it had fired ballistic missiles at a number of military sites in Israel. Israel said most of the missiles were shot down by air defense systems.
A few hours later, Israel said it had struck military sites in Iran.
Against the backdrop of the events, US President Donald Trump called on the parties to refrain from new attacks and stressed that the possibility of reaching an agreement to end the war was still high.
At the moment, the situation in the region remains tense.
