Iran declares state of mourning after explosion

On April 28, an explosion occurred at the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas. As a result, 36 people were killed and more than 1,200 were injured.
The fire that broke out in the explosion spread to the eastern part of the port due to the presence of chemicals. Iran's Health Ministry declared a state of emergency in Hormuzgan province and asked residents to stay indoors. Investigations into the tragedy are underway. National mourning has been declared in the country
