Iran again restricts movement in the Strait of Hormuz
The Iranian military announced that it has again restricted movement in the Strait of Hormuz. According to their statement, this measure was taken due to the continuation of restrictions on the movement of ships imposed by US forces. It was said that the situation in the strait will remain under strict control until the US lifts restrictions on Iranian ships.
Iran's Foreign Minister had previously stated that the Strait of Hormuz is open to all commercial ships. Trump, however, said that Iran has promised never to close the Strait of Hormuz again.
