🇰🇷 Investigators arrive at Yun Seok-yol's residence to arrest him

The Seoul Western District Court issued an arrest warrant for President Yun Seok-yol on December 31. The reason for this was that the ousted president failed to appear for questioning three times on charges of leading a rebellion and abuse of power. Therefore, investigators arrived at the country's President Yun Seok-yol's residence on January 3 to arrest him. At approximately 8:00 a.m. (5:54 a.m. Tashkent time), a 50-person investigation team entered the residence. Police deployed 45 special forces units and 2,700 officers to maintain order around the presidential residence. Around 1,200 Yun supporters gathered near the residence, calling for "protecting the president" and "repealing the impeachment." Some of them clashed with police.
