Inspector who rescued a drowning woman in Bukhara promoted ahead of schedule

On January 29, an inspector on duty in Vobkent district noticed a woman throwing herself into the river flowing through the district center. Risking his own life, he entered the icy water and pulled the woman to the shore. The victim was taken to the district hospital, and her life was saved.
For saving the woman’s life, prevention inspector Amrillo Rasulov was awarded the special rank of major ahead of schedule by order of the Minister of Internal Affairs.
