Information on newly appointed pensions and benefits was provided

The pension fund provided information on how many citizens were assigned pensions and benefits in January—June 2023.

It is reported that 201,216 citizens were assigned new pensions and benefits in Uzbekistan in half a year. Of this, there were 121,620 age pensions, 15,326 disability pensions, 9,255 family loss pensions, and 55,015 citizen benefits.

The foundation's report noted that 101,726 (50.6 percent) of the new pension and benefit appointees were women.

According to statistics, for the last half year of new pensions and benefits, the maximum number of appointees (36 thousand 552) was in April. The next places were march (35,686), June (34,750), may (35,401) and January (33,609). The minimum new pensions and benefits were assigned in February (25,218).

The total number of pension and benefit recipients in Uzbekistan on June 1 this year was 4,447,597. Of this, the age pension recipients are 3,182,617, the disability pension recipients 426,532, and The Breadwinner pension recipients 230,359.
