Indonesia hit by 7.4 magnitude earthquake
A powerful 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia's North Maluku Sea. The epicenter was 120 km from Ternate at a depth of 35 km. One person was killed after being trapped under a building. Local authorities advised residents of Ternate and Tidore to prepare for evacuation. A tsunami warning has been issued for the coasts of Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia.
