India-Pakistan tensions escalate after Kashmir attack

Following a terror attack in India's southern Kashmir region on April 22, the Indian government announced a series of sanctions against Pakistan, suspending visas for Pakistanis, closing a key border crossing with Pakistan and blocking water supplies. Pakistan also closed its airspace to India.
The attack in Kashmir killed at least 27 people, including two foreigners. The Kashmir Resistance group claimed responsibility. India accused Pakistan of supporting terrorists.
