India and Pakistan on the brink of war

On April 24, Indian and Pakistani troops exchanged fire along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. India blocked the flow of the Indus River into Pakistan. Pakistan described the move as a declaration of war, and the Pakistani Defense Ministry posted a video on its website showing a missile launch, threatening to go to war with India and destroy one of its territories. A Daily Times journalist reported that Israel had delivered high-precision munitions, including guided bombs, to India's Adampur air base amid tensions between India and Pakistan.
Relations between the countries became tense on April 22 after a group of terrorists attacked civilians and tourists in the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
