India advised against studying at a medical university in Uzbekistan

The National Medical Commission of India strongly recommended applicants not to study at the Chirchik branch of Tashkent State Medical University and three medical universities in Belize. The reason is that these institutions do not meet India's medical education standards. It reported poor educational quality, poor infrastructure, and pressure on students.
Also, some Indian students receiving medical education in Uzbekistan have complained about the level of the teachers, the state of the hostel and the quality of the exams. After the criticism, the minister of Higher Education met with students and commissioned them to improve conditions.
