Increase in average pension over 10 years revealed

The average monthly pension amount in Uzbekistan has increased 3.3-fold over the last 10 years. According to data from the National Statistics Committee, while the average pension was 494.2 thousand soums in 2016, this figure reached 1,649.2 thousand soums in 2025.
The pension amount has increased over the years as follows:

🔹 2017 — 556.8 thousand soums;
🔹 2018 — 640.5 thousand soums;
🔹 2019 — 733.2 thousand soums;
🔹 2020 — 848.5 thousand soums;
🔹 2021 — 963.6 thousand soums;
🔹 2022 — 1.08 million soums;
🔹 2023 — 1.23 million soums;
🔹 2024 — 1.5 million soums;
🔹 2025 — 1.65 million soums.

According to forecasts, the average pension is expected to reach 1.8 million soums in 2027, 1.9 million soums in 2028, and 2.1 million soums in 2029.
