The number of contracts in the real estate market has increased, the rent price has increased. In its next review, the Center for Economic Research and Reforms analyzed the changes in the real estate market.

In August, real estate sales increased by 12.8%, the number of registered sales transactions was 28,000. This is almost 3 thousand more than a month ago.

In the last two months, activity in the housing market of the capital is relatively low, but it can be seen that it is growing. Thus, in August, the volume of sales increased by 10% and amounted to 7.5 thousand apartments.

Renting an apartment in the capital remains the most affordable price in Uchtepa ($7.1), Sergeli ($6.7) and Bektemir ($5.6) districts.

For the first time in the secondary real estate market, a decrease in apartment prices was observed at the beginning of the year. In August, the average price per square meter of housing decreased by 0.7%, while the price of secondary housing increased by 22% compared to last year.

Compared to August last year, the average price of secondary housing in Tashkent increased by 31.6%.
