Up to 16.5 million soums of contract money are paid to students included in the "youth register" in Uzbekistan. This was stated in the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 312 dated June 6, 2022.
According to it, it is envisaged to pay the following categories:
a child of the family included in the "iron register";
children of women included in the "women's register";
A child of a family enrolled in the Unified Register of Social Protection, who is studying at a professional or higher education institution;
A student raised in an orphanage or children's town;
a low-income student deprived of parental care, placed under guardianship;
a child of a low-income family who has at least one of the family members with group I or both group II disabilities, who is studying at a professional or higher education institution;
a student with a disability or health impairment;
to a student whose family is poor.
Those studying in professional educational organizations in the Republic, as well as in branches of state, non-state higher education organizations and foreign higher education organizations operating in Uzbekistan:
full-time, part-time and evening undergraduate courses;
full-time master's degree students are paid a part of their annual tuition fees on a fee-contract basis.
Payment of these expenses is carried out on the basis of a positive recommendation of the youth leader up to 50% of the payment contract, but not exceeding 50 times of BHM (16 million 500 thousand soums).
Reimbursement of part of the payment contract costs does not apply to the following categories:
second and further specialization;
joint educational programs;
application to those receiving education on the basis of a differentiated fee-contract.
Students, requesting to pay a part of the fee-contract expenses, must submit a copy of the contract (contract) drawn up in the prescribed manner to the Board of Trustees. Within three working days, the board of trustees sends the application along with the attached documents to the youth leader of the neighborhood where the applicant lives for consideration.
The youth leader in the neighborhood sends a recommendation or rejection notice to the Board of Trustees within five working days. In this case, it is required to justify the reasons for the refusal when sending a notification about the refusal to cover payment-contract costs.
If the youth leader in the neighborhood does not consider the appeal within five working days from the moment it is received, or gives a notification about the unjustified refusal to allocate the subsidy, the Board of Trustees has the right to satisfy the applicant's appeal if the applicant's appeal meets the requirements of this paragraph.
Based on the results of the application study, within three working days after the decision of the Board of Trustees on the reimbursement of payment-contract expenses, the specified amount of payment-contract funds is transferred to the account of the professional education or higher education organization. will be transferred to the number.
