In Uzbekistan, nearly 700 women over the age of 50 got married in six months.

In Uzbekistan, 694 women aged 50 and older got married between January and June 2026. The National Statistics Committee reported this information.

A total of 92,300 marriages were registered in the country during the first six months of the year. Of these, 49,280 involved women aged 20–30, 7,570 involved women aged 31–40, and 2,562 involved women aged 41 and older.

For context, the number of marriages registered among women aged 50 and older was 1,478 in 2025, 1,430 in 2024, and 1,427 in 2023.
