Nukus has launched a unique product for sale – immune milk that can neutralize the coronavirus. This is especially important in conditions when the World Health Organization has reported the rapid spread of a new variant of the omicron strain "Eris" in the world, the correspondent reports Podrobno.uz .

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation noted that the company PanaevFarms, operating in Nukus, has started the production and sale of immune milk and dairy products that have properties to neutralize SARS-CoV-2.

In 2021, the International Center for Molecular Allergology under the Ministry of Innovative Development (now the Agency for Innovative Development) and the Vienna Medical University began work on a project to obtain immune milk against coronavirus.

In 2022, a group of scientists from the International Center for Molecular Allergology took samples for analysis from the immune milk of cows vaccinated with the Uzbek-Chinese vaccine ZF-UZ-VAC2001. According to the cooperation agreement concluded between the International Center for Molecular Allergology and PanayevFarms, breeding cows and Holstein cows imported from Austria and Germany received 3 doses of the ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine. The results showed that cows and goats vaccinated with the recombinant ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine produced neutralizing antibodies two weeks after the second dose.

A scientific article on the results of obtaining a new generation of immune milk against coronavirus infection was published in the prestigious scientific journal Frontiers in Nutrition, proving for the first time in practice the possibility of obtaining immune milk against coronavirus.

Since October 2022, technological lines for small production of pasteurized milk under the trademark Immune Milk have been tested at the PanayevFarms enterprise in Karakalpakstan.
