In Uzbekistan, luminaries are treated free of charge by qualified doctors, the Ministry of Health Information Service reports.
According to him, the Ministry of Health announced another new campaign. From August 1 to September 1, The “Elderly Health Month” is organized. During this period, the enlightened fathers and mothers of the country undergo a deepened medical examination by qualified doctors in the area where they live.
During this campaign, measures will be taken to strengthen the health of the elderly with the support of the state for diseases identified in accordance with the results of a medical examination. To do this, a list of luminaries, which will initially be subjected to a medical examination, is formed, which, depending on age, gender and state of health, are divided into appropriate groups.
Subsequently, elderly people involved in the action are subject to preventive and in-depth examinations by special medical brigades. At the conclusion of the medical examinations:
a group of adult patients with acute and chronic diseases are treated in outpatient conditions in day hospitals in the primary unit, and a layer in need of inpatient care is treated in medical institutions of the district, city and regional scale;
elderly patients who need high-tech specialized medical care are provided with preferential passes to regional and republican institutions.
In turn, in remote and remote and border areas, in-depth examinations are carried out by itinerant medical brigades.
