In Uzbekistan, it is forbidden for parents to physically punish their children

Due to the increasing number of violence committed against children in recent years, the law "On protection of children from all forms of violence" was reviewed and approved in Uzbekistan. The law even prohibits parents from physically punishing children while raising them.

Also, a procedure for issuing protection warrants to children who have suffered from violence is being established. This protection warrant is issued by internal affairs bodies for a period of 30 days and is handed over to the victim in the presence of an authorized state body.
