In Uzbekistan from October 1 a certificate will be mandatory for moped and scooter drivers

A government decision stipulates that moped and scooter drivers will be required to have a Category “A” driver's license from 1 October 2025.
Also, moped and scooters with an engine of 25-50 cm3 or an electrical power of 0.25–4 kW with a constructive speed of 25-50 km/h should be registered with separate state Number signs. This work is carried out by the YHXX territorial units.

Those who manage Moped and scooters without a certificate are fined in the prescribed manner.
