In Uzbekistan, during the 2023/2024 academic year, a list of certificates was approved, which will pay 50 and 20 percent surcharges to educators of secondary schools. Some international certificates were removed from this list.

The Ministry of preschool and School Education issued a statement on the situation. According to him, as a result of a study of certificates issued by Authorized Organizations from the list, the following were identified:

when issuing certificates, online control is not properly established, that is, there are cases when instead of one person, another enters and surrenders;
the inability to determine the validity of some certificates;
the inability to determine the identity of the test taker when checking the validity of the certificates;
constant repetition of test questions, when not fully meeting the requirements of information security in Test tests for the issuance of certain certificates.
Nevertheless, it was established that the holders of the deregistered certificate would be paid a surcharge for the certificates they received by August 1 until the deadline for the certificate to be finalized. At the same time, in accordance with the current regulatory legal acts, APTIS for teachers, Linguaskill certificates are being used in recruitment processes for newly recruited applicants.
