In Uzbekistan, a highly dangerous infectious disease carrier “wakes up”

❗️The Sanepidemiological Committee has called on the population to be vigilant due to the activation of ticks that transmit Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic disease (CCHD).
CCHD is a highly dangerous disease transmitted by tick bites, characterized by sudden fever, headache, muscle and back pain, nausea, vomiting and hemorrhagic phenomena (nosebleeds, subcutaneous hemorrhages).
The disease occurs in Africa, the Balkans, the Middle East and Central Asia, and the mortality rate can reach 10-40%.

❗️ To avoid CCHD, it is necessary not to pick ticks from livestock with your hands, not to kill them, to be careful when going to the mountains and hills, and to contact medical personnel in case of a tick bite.
