In Ufa, a Student Attacked His School with a Weapon

On February 3 in the city of Ufa, a 9th-grade student carried out an attack on his school. He brought a weapon to school, fired several shots at a teacher and three classmates, and set off a firecracker. Officials say no one was injured, but local media report that three people were wounded.

The attacker’s main targets were a history teacher he disliked and several classmates. On his Telegram channel, he wrote about his life, complaining about being unhappy, pressure from teachers, and not being understood by classmates. He had also planned the attack in advance, posting photos and videos with weapons on social media.

The teenager has been detained. An investigation is underway.
