In the UAE, the term "housewife" has been replaced with "Generations Shaper"
The Dubai government has officially replaced the term "housewife" with the title "Generations Shaper."
This initiative was introduced to duly recognize the contributions mothers make to child-rearing, family life, and the development of society. The new status will now be used on Emirates ID cards, as well as in medical and educational documents. Additionally, special financial and social support programs are being implemented for women holding the "Generations Shaper" status.
