In the Tashkent region, an explosive that was being carried illegally in a truck was stopped

At the border customs post of the Tashkent region, a truck was stopped trying to illegally carry an explosive. According to the press service of the regional regional customs administration, the truck “DAF”, which entered the border customs post “Yallama”, was not listed in the passenger declaration in its luggage when subjected to a customs inspection in the prescribed manner, and it was found that there were 1.85 kilo of gunpowder, which was not reported in the oral survey. 

According to the conclusion of the examination, the substance Gunpowder is included in the composition of explosives. At the moment, inquiry actions are being carried out on the situation.

For information, according to Article 246 of the Criminal Code, criminal liability is established for smuggling of non-declaratory ammunition and explosives into the territory of Uzbekistan, bypassing customs control or hiding them from customs control.
