In the capital of Cameroon, 23 people were killed when a dam broke

At least 23 people were killed in a dam breach in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon. According to him, as a result of prolonged heavy rain, a dam on one of the lakes could not withstand water pressure. A strong spillway led to the destruction of about 30 houses. 

In turn, the Journal du Cameroun reports that the capital's Mbankolo quarter was damaged by a breach in the dam.

23 people were killed in the incident, and missing people were said to be missing. Search and Rescue is currently underway.
